Outcome Description:3.1 Students describe concepts of culture and use that understanding in their comparison of the Japanese culture with a second culture other than Japan.
3.2 Students will analyze and make connections between the perspectives, ways of thinking, behavioral practices, and cultural products of a second culture other than Japanese.

Reflective Narrative:
Secondary culture was significant to study about in regards to our departments big modo of being globally aware. Before Japanese I studied a plethora of different languages because there were so many available people around me. Learning about these other cultures gives you a solid base to create comparisons and expand your view point which is a important skill/ability anywhere you go.
